| U14s Pre-Season Fitness Training

Our Under 14s team are aiming to hit the ground running hard
when the new season starts by going through a rigorous training
program devised by TS Personal
Training. Concentrating on muscular endurance, agility and
speed, it's certainly been a change to training drills with
footballs as the boys have been put through their paces over a
number of sessions based around a kids Boxercise class.

| Notice of Annual General Meeting

The Villacourt Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday
August 4th at Croftons, 8pm.
The financial acocunts for last year will be presented and
voting held to elect the following officers of the club:
- General Secretary
- Chairman
- Treasurer
- Child Welfare Officer
Should anyone wish to stand for any of the above posts, they
should make themselves known to the General Secretary (Stuart
Stotesbury) as soon as possible.
All parents of players are welcome to attend as voting members
of the club.

| Presentation Evening 2011 - Part 2

The Villacourt Rovers Committee hope you all enjoyed the
presentation evening at Charlton on 11th June. It was great to see
so many of you there and the funds raised through the ticket sales,
raffle and auction will be put to good use in the coming
season.
Many thanks must go to those companies and organisations who
donated raffle prizes and auction items including Sunderland
Athletic Football Club, Up The Creek Comedy Club,
The Visage
Salon Eltham, Bromley Court Hotel
and the Orchard Theatre.

Not long now until the Villacourt 2010/11 Presentation Evening
down at Charlton Athletic...
Doors are opening at 7.30 for what should be a great evening.
We've some splendid items for the auction and raffle, including a
football signed by England World Cup Winner Sir Geoff Hurst,
goalkeeper gloves signed by Paul Robinson, a signed Sunderland
football shirt kindly donated by ex-Villacourt player Sunderland's
Michael Turner, lunch for two at the Bromley Court Hotel, Greenwich
Comedy Club tickets and a pamper day at Visage Salon in Eltham.

| Another Scalp for the U13s

Congratulations to the Under 13s for another triumph! Their
season may be officially over but that didn't stop the Under 13s
from another win in a post-season friendly. There may have been
some nerves before the game started when the height of the
opposition was noticed... but the width of some of the opposition
suggested that perhaps this wasn't a team in top condition!
Yes, it was a Dads v Lads game with nothing at stake... apart
from pride! The lads conceded the first goal but stormed back to
finish the half 3-1.
